It says something like you have to be a "tax netpayer" and "make more than $40,000" a year. A bit disheartening if that's true, there's lots of hardworking Americans who dont make that much, that still need it :(

There is some compensation that is available for those taking care of family like you are. Its not much...
You only get this money if the person you are caring for makes less than a given amount of money. If they make more than this amount, then it is up to this person to pay you a wage...or not.
They really want to milk you and the system via nursing homes.
