However, it isn't just the pharma companies. Here is the National Diabetes Association statement
"We envision a life free of diabetes and all its burdens.
We aim to be the global leader, trusted source, preferred partner, and a connected community united to prevent and cure diabetes while improving the lives of all people affected by it."
In the 80's there were a few million people with type 2 diabetes, Today, there are over 38 million known type 2 diabetics. I would certainly not call this organization a success, yet they command both donations, and respect from the general public. The same is true for all the "Associations" Heart, kidney, etc. They all need to be called out as well. And, most doctors take their orders from these organizations, worldwide.
If a group of people took a highway and wanted to reduce traffic accidents on that stretch of road, and instead accidents went up by 500%. I'm pretty sure they would be a laughing stock.
Disgusting.
