Here is a list of non-citizens in the country who are here LEGALLY who can get SS and other benefits (legally):

Green Card Holders. Refugees and Asylees. People here on work visas. Spouses and Dependents of Eligible Workers.

People need to get out of this knee-jerk reaction where they automatically interpret "non-citizen" or "migrant workers" or other terms of people here LEGALLY with ILLEGALS.

I think Elon is being disingenuous with this type of thing. They understand that non-citizens aren't here illegally and they aren't the same as illegals.

But that's what they're trying to make people believe. Why is that?

If you don't believe me, go look for yourself. Look at the terminology they use. Again, does their chart say "non-citizens" or "illegals"?

Go look up who in the US are considered "non-citizens", and if they can get SS benefits or not. Legally.

Then ask yourself why Elon, who has been given such a powerful place in our government, seems to be unaware of these easily accessible facts.

He's either completely oblivious to things a middle schooler can find in 10 minutes, or he's deliberately being disingenuous to push this idea that all of those people they found getting SS benefits are doing so illegally.

Either way, it's not good.
