The avarice and sin of man has dug the very deep pit that we now find ourselves in. The only redemption for man is to turn from sin and follow Jesus.

We are all bothered by the current state of the world because the guilty appear to be escaping justice. But God sees it all and there will be justice - and there is no escape from His justice.

In the meantime, He has told us to "Fear not". So we should go about our business recognizing that we are all in His hands.
