I haven't kept up with this story. What in the hell is he doing besides grandstanding. What is his point.

He's not filibustering a bill, as far as I know. He appears to be in a full-blown panic, begging and pleading for somebody to stop Trump and DOGE before the extent of the corruption is revealed - especially his own part in it.
