Even if that’s done, “being a Muslim” can be completely invisible to everyone except that person, allowing for silent running if it does get pushed back. One thing I saw while digging on this a while back was that there were an awful lot of ethnically English islamic nobles who helped to kick off the current invasion.
Has anyone expelled them since the crusades? How did they do it? I doubt “by sword” is an option these days.
