Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Prime Minister Mark Carney told him a zero tariff situation was possible if Trump agreed to drop all tariffs.

I'm for justice as much as the next red-blooded American, but no deal w/ Canada will crush the good populist-nationalist Canadians that supported the truckers a few years back.

Better to lead by example. Responding w/ half of their tariffs is merciful. And virtues like mercy are in great need from our leaders, perhaps more today than ever before.
