True. But God alone would know the heart of of John Hagee. We see the action, of another, but cannot know their heart. Therefore (1John 5:16) tells us exactly what to do if we think someone is in sin. 1 John 5:16 says, If (you) see your brother sin a sin that does not lead to death you should pray for him and God (will) give him life. (James 5:16) says,"Pray one for another that (you) might be healed. Our own healing comes to us when we pray for others and is hindered when we don't. I have found that when I have fervently prayed for others (even my worst enemy) it is near impossible to talk negative about them after that. No where in scripture does God tell us to expose one another sins( publicly) where those we accuse, have no chance to defend themselves. However (1 Peter 4:8) does say "Love covers a multitude of faults" EXAMPLE: In Genesis 9:23, Shem and Japheth took a blanket and threw it over their shoulders and walked backwards so as not to look upon the nakedness of Noah and dropped the blanket on Noah to cover his nakedness. Ham on the other hand, expose (told others) the nakedness of Noah. Scripture says that Shem and Japeth we're blessed, for covering Noah's shortcomings, Ham was cursed. Many times we wondered why healing is so slow to come to us, or maybe does not come at all, could it be because we are too quick to point and too slow to pray? It's interesting to note, that scripture says, (Job 42:10) "God turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends ( that had spoken against him). Job stayed captive (until) he prayed, for those that he thought were wrong. A very sobering thought. 🙏
