But seriously.
If you are here. If you truly care about goodness, and righteousness, and justice.
Thank you.
It is easy to feel confused, sad, frustrated, all of that. You see what the world could be. You are forced to withdraw/hold your tongue, or be called racistxenophobicsexist and everything else. You believe that something good is coming regardless.
Thank you.
I never met you, but my eyes well up thinking about you.
You aren't alone, and I will always be here for you if tou even just need to vent. (PMs welcome)
I truly believe our collective feelings are tipping some cosmic scale.
And friends, it is in our favor.
Hang in there.

I think people need to take a beat. Forreal. People are way to emotional about the backlash. Did any of us really think it would be any different? Did any of us really think the old system being scrapped wouldn't lead to a turbulent time?
Have faith. Our guy is in there working around the clock in a snake pit. The least we could do is have faith. And this time around he has some good people around him that are loyal so far as we can tell.
There hasn't been any phony investigations, or impeachment articles. We are 2.5-3 months in and we are witnessing the paid aggravators, and protestors. Nothing new.
And to the people panicking around here over 401k's and the stock market as I said in the above. What have you been around here for in the first place? The system is broken and being misused against the people. It needs to crumble. If you can't handle it I suggest signing out and going about your life as normal.
And remember the youth of this Nation by large can't even begin to think about retirement let alone being able to afford homes or cars. So spare us the sorry sap story. Greed and negligence led to this. And the younger generations have all been dealing with the consequences from the moment we became adults. All the while the older generations got to grow and be a part of the golden age. And squander it all at the same time.
OP is right. Hold the line and I will add stop acting like a pussy when our guy and others are literally in the devils lair trying to save this Nation.
The part you’re forgetting is that the young still have the rest of their lives to work hard and get ahead. Even if it’s harder and slower. They have time, opportunity, health and a future.
When your 60-70-80 and have worked your ass off to have a home and 401k…and then all that is stolen, your screwed. There is NO TIME TO RECOVER. You’re getting old, moving to a ratty trailer park or homeless.
So which one sounds worse, eh?
you'll own nothing and eat bugs and be grateful or you'll be called greedy.
Didn’t he resign recently?
You are telling me that we should just stick the path? Stick with the same old systems? The ones the older generations got to enjoy and we won't ever?
There was no future. You all got to have families and live fat. We aren't going to get that if we continue on this path. And even when we do get that it isn't even close to being the same. It is gross hearing this shit around here. Fuck anyone 40 or under apparently.
You are talking about recovering. Meanwhile your kids and the younger generations have been treading water. Barely able to stay afloat. All the while the people steering the ship (the older gens) squandered and fucked it all up. While also giving terrible advice to the youth. Like "go to college or else you'll be a deadbeat", or the age old for the daughters "be independent and don't rely on no man".
So basically we shouldn't attempt to right the ship? Since you are in your limelight and need your safety nets that won't exist for us in the future.
You are saying we have our whole lives? While being on this site is fucking comical. This is existential crisis dude. We are seeing our country being taken away from us. It is peachy that the older gens got to enjoy the best era of the country in a 80% white Christian Nation but we won't get the same thing.
A bunch of selfish fuckers
you want equity and inclusion, sounds like.
No I want the systems that be to ultimately serve the people. The stock market was never meant for us. And with the way this Country is/was going any type of retirement would be difficult for a large amount of the youth. Why pretend otherwise?
Ummm, you forgot the diversity 😂
Lol…you sound like a leftie. You are putting words in my mouth and assuming/construing a whole bunch of (logical fallacies) meaning in my (accurate) statement.
You have fallen for the “divide and conquer” strategy. You are playing the victim. Would you feel better if the all older generation lost everything, lived under bridges and ate out of trashcans if that meant you got a bigger paycheck or were able to buy a house? If so, what kind of person are you?
Stop being bitter and mean spirited. Put the blame where it belongs…the DS who set up the system. Not gramma who happened to be born in that era. Not grandpa who is fearful of being homeless.
Is it harder for the young generation? Sure. So suck it up and figure it out.
"Suck it up everyone these guys will be selling their homes they bought for 100k for 4x that amount to the younger generations. Suck it up and figure it out." This is the type of energy I feel out of boomers right now.
The blame belongs mostly to the DS. I won't disagree there. But that doesn't mean the keepers of this Nation don't deserve some degree of finger pointing.
The amount of people I know in their 30's that will never own even half as much as their father is incredibly high. But you want us to feel sorry? We all hit financial prime later than our fathers and our money goes about 1/4th the way.
Sure I wish there was a way to fix the system without any pain. But you are being unrealistic. While you guys hit financial prime and were able to save, and create stability we were all struggling to even break into that pattern in far worst circumstances. And the end result is a mockery in comparison to our economic and financial strength of the past.
I don't want any Patriot to have to suffer. But I figured most people around here were prepared for something like this to happen.
Maybe my tone is aggressive but it isn't fun listening to the most financially stable of this Nation complain the most about the economy possibly tanking for a period.
nobody ever seems to agree on when the golden age was/is. Most people think of it as someone elses past. Trump thinks it's now.
OP chiming in. Let's all co-create the brand spanking new golden age right now. I for one can't think of a better moment in my lifetime to try. I'm all in.
I think it is easy to point out. Interest rates lower, white christian population was higher, housing market, job market, culture, and the unions cohesiveness as a society.
These are easy things to point out. And it is easy to see when this started to erode.
I doubt many of the oldest boomers would claim the golden age was pre 60's. Things started to take off from there. The growth through to the 2000's was insane. It is what made us the number super power.
the deep state made us the number one super power and that was the golden age? interesting.
The whole premise of what I said is based on trying to escape those DS functions in this Country.
Whether you like it or not the way things were being ran afforded a generation a short lived golden era. Are you actually going to try and deny that things were far better for almost every issue we now face today? The way things were being ran was never going to last. It wasn't mean to
People are mad because the old system is hemorrhaging and crumbling. Did you expect a simple switch flip and everything would be clean and great?
