I assume that you are in a very blue state. The US AID spigot is being shut off so the state has to find revenue elsewhere to keep all their "provocateurs" on the payroll and finance the perpetual kick-backs.

Check and see if the price of crude has gone up, or if your gas taxes have increased. I'm in deep blue New England and our gas prices are going down. Most are under $3 / gallon.
