It is funny but everything one finds at a Chinese buffet is American food made to look "Chinese". It's like calling Taco Bell authentic Mexican food.

Yes. General Tso's chicken is a great example of Chinese food that is not actually Chinese. It's made for American palates because Americans love fried chicken and sweet shit.
