Also, remember that if AI knows about any countries actual secret mil tech then they are in trouble. Logic would tell you that if a county (Taiwan) has the most advanced tech they are militarily superior to a country that has some of the most inferior tech (China) (of all the super power nations). Not to mention we are backing them up. If China were to attack Taiwan and somehow get the upper hand we would crush them. Taiwan isn't shit hole 3rd world Ukraine and China isn't Russia.
