Right now a family member who is very sick is using the injectible kind for herself but taking it orally. (1 ml /1cc) er 110 pounds body weight ) takes hideous but it works and that's what she has.
Not sure why everyone thinks it tastes hideous, because it doesn't. I've tried it and it's not bad, just has a bit of a medicinal flavor. It's not candy, after all.
That is the easiest form to take. It does taste bitter, but the best way to take it is in a shot of juice. Taken in juice is very tolerable.
I use a tsp of applesauce
I'm a paste guy. Tractor supply near me strangely stopped carrying the only paste I can tolerate (white stuff, not the 'gel'). So I started getting it on amazon.
I think its very suspicious that a company makes a wildly unsound business decision to NOT carry a product that keeps selling out, instead of simply buying more.
