Boris Pistorius was a conscript during his military service from 1980 to the end of 1981 in the Steuben barracks in Achim and had the rank of lance corporal.
He was originally supposed to be the driver of the Gepard tank, but this plan was not realized as the commander was looking for a new driver.
Instead, Pistorius became the commander's driver and was then a lance corporal in the reserve for several years until he finally left the Bundeswehr. (Brave)
The military career of Adolf Hitler, who was the dictator of Germany from 1933 until 1945, can be divided into two distinct portions of his life. Mainly, the period during World War I when Hitler served as a Gefreiter (lance corporal[A 1]) in the Bavarian Army, and the era of World War II when he served as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Wehrmacht (German Armed Forces) through his position as Führer of Nazi Germany.
