I shot my first 22 rifle when I was seven years old. I used to go out shooting targets with my friends. None of this ever happened when we were kids. I think I was 15 or 16 carrying a 22 around unsupervised out in the woods. I remember when kids had shotguns on gun racks in the back of the trucks at school. We were always safe. We never pointed a firearm at each other. Maybe we just had different values than these people do.
