There is a theory that the “top of the pyramid” is on or near the Canary Islands. Note that there is a whole section of NW Africa coast that is “off limits” to humans that is near the Canary Islands. Supposedly this is to hide a large island off the coast that can be seen from that area. Jist of the “story” is that Canary Islands are larger and more important than known as well as being a possible site of remnants of an ancient Civilization.
This particular location (along with NW Africa) is the only place on Earth that remains ice-free throughout the Astronomical Great Year of 25,920 years due to the 12x precessions of the Equinox that occur every 2,160 years (12 x 2160 = 25920). This location (or nearby) would be the perfect planetary location for a Great Library of technology and history that would not get destroyed every 25,920 years by natural climate cycles.
