I'm in UK. We can have detachable magazines of any capacity we want. Silencers/moderators no problem either and in some places they are almost compulsory to combat noise pollution.
All sounds great? Not really. Getting a certificate to own firearms takes up to a year of compulsory membership of a police-licensed gun club, and the process of assessing your suitability/competence is devolved to the club. Also have to get signed off as "not crazy" by your physician.
Rimfire semi-auto is allowed but any centre-fire is bolt or slide action only. Oh and NO handguns under 24 inches long. Yes you read that right; pistols have "Buntline" style long barrels and a long piece of metal welded to the grip.
