I am three generations away from that chilly mud hole, and so have no skin in this game. The damage may become critical but at present it is only a thought. The horrible aspect from UK government point of view is that many people consider that the behaviour in senior government politicians is putrid and unacceptable, and the occurrence of the event is believable. The very worst nightmare is that votes will evaporate.
