I read some Bank robbery article back in 2020. These two guys walking into a bank wearing surgical masks and rob the place…
The next day that so called Bank became a mask free ZONE
Masks don't do much unless you live in area with sandstorms or lots of air pollution during forest fires.
Surgical masks are supposed to be used to in the surgical room, worn by the doctors, not publicly.
And my thought in a forest fire they won’t be much use anyways, once you start breathing in the black smoke.
