If the Palestinians have had such level of input, as you idealised, don’t you think they wouldn’t be where they are now? That’s the whole point - they’re not the ones holding the cards or any of it. The whole ‘negotiation’ and ‘processes’ is just one big farce for the world to gnaw on while, like I said, the children dies.
There are Israelis, contrary to popular belief, who are opposed to some of the military actions Israel takes. Some do serve in the justice system, but I'm not sure even that would be sufficient. Maybe when the PA takes over, they should handle it.
