You are probably right. They probably receive some annual amount and will continue airing such commercials until they've used up the ad money. I can't wait for the day when no prescription medications are advertised. I still can't understand who those commercials are supposed to be aimed at. Do they think people are going to call their doctor and say, "I saw this ad for _______ and I want you to prescribe it for me!", or is it so when some big pharma stooge doctor prescribes it, they think, "Oh yeah, I've seen those ads, it's really a great drug!"
