And YET JESUS was not his NAME...think about that for 1 second! His mom didn't call him Jesus, his brothers didn't call him Jesus, but the NAME IS SO IMPORTANT that your ETERNAL SALVATION depends on a NAME, you really don't know (Joshua-Yeshua) Don't you find that the least peculiar?
Yup I studied it. The J vs Y in Hebrew is BS. I can say Yeshua just fine. Foreigners who say my name say it in ENGLISH, just like it is, as they would for you too. Yet the very Savior my soul depends on doesn't have a right name...WTF.

I had a long discussion with Grok about this. The name "Jesus" is not even close to the Son of God's real name. It is a fascinating dig. The name of the Son and the name of the Father is the same with only 1 consonant added. The name of then Son and "Joshua's" real name are the same as well.
Many in my family are JW's and they get so mad when I share with them the fact that it is 100% impossible the God's name to be Jehovah.
Anyway. It is a fun dig. Names were VERY IMPORTANT in ancient languages. They carried so much meaning. All lost in translations.
It's very odd to me that people insist on calling him Jesus instead of Joshua. We all know that in English, it's Joshua. Pronounce it like a Y and you have something closer to what his mother called him.
Christians really want atheists to become Christians until they realize the atheists bring in the desire to research the truth above tradition.
Yeshua is Hebrew. Jesus is Greek.
