If you guys ever are in need of an MRI, do everything you can to NOT get the contrast. I was so out of it when I got the MRI, I didn't even realize they were giving the contrast.
It is called Gadolinium, a heavy metal. They inject you with TONS of this toxic heavy metal to get a more accurate MRI. Risk/Reward is obviously at play and many have no problems with the contrast. But if you're one of the unlucky ones, you're fcked for life.
They lied and said it would be out of my system within 48 hours, when there are studies to indicate that it stays in you FOREVER. It gets lodged into your brain, bones, muscles, and organs. Again, they say "safe and effective" instead of "poison to make you sick and become a forever customer". Even if you don't have a bad reaction to it, it stays in your body for life.
I came home after the MRI and felt like my skin was burning. I couldn't even put a shirt on because of how sensitive my skin was.
My arm in which it was injected is still twitching uncontrollably, even when taking electrolytes. My joints feel inflamed and swollen and my body is completely stiff. These symptoms were not present before the MRI. I feel completely ill now. My digestion is wrecked.
The worst of it is that I feel like something has fundamentally changed in my brain. I've been looking at chelation as a strategy to get it out of my body, but there are also risks. But man, I wish I had the forethought and mental strength to make sure there was NO CONTRAST. I don't even know if the diagnosis of a brain clot is accurate. I have deep mistrust for the health care system as you all do as well.
I was ordered to take Eliquis, a blood thinner. I stopped taking it. It makes me feel toxic and sick.
Not everything about our health care system is bad. Diagnostics is pretty good, emergency care as well. But in terms of health maintenance and curing, we all know it is absolute shit and usually does more harm than good. I have no ill will towards the doctor or nurses. Their intentions are right, they just participate in a terrible system.
I've gone to natural supplements like fish oil, allicin, ginger root, and nattokinase. If anyone has other supplements that prevent stroke, my ears are all open.
It looks like DTPA Chelation or HOPO are the only ways to get the gadolinium out, but there are heavy risks and not sure what to do. I feel poisoned along with the worry that my brain is gunna pop.
Frikken 41 yrs old and my health is shit. Every single western medicine protocol I've done has created so many more problems than benefit. I honestly don't ever want to have anything to do with western medicine. Only blood tests and other diagnostics. No more of this shit.
Yes, it was in the emergency room and I was not in a good headspace. I did further research and found so many people with chronic issues after the contrast. My joints are so messed up right now.
I heard DTPA chelation works to get the gadolinium out of the system. Either way, so toxic I'm pissed
