Your approach would leave the Great Awakening rudderless. Leadership is key. You may call them "influencers" but that's the role they play. Like it or not, that's how humans work. It's up to us to discern good leaders, but your blanket approach would stall the movement as surely as infiltrators.

The point remains that you don't know Sather's work well enough to stand in judgement of it with any credibility. I don't particularly TRUST anybody, but Sather is among those whom I've found the least reason to distrust.
