People missing the point that the commies in the civil service don't care if the peasants don’t have power.
They want us to have nothing, due to their climate cult indoctrination, they BELIEVE that simply by living we are destroying the planet.
No mention so far of any deaths caused by this, which I am certain there were.

The fact that amost all of those advocating in favor of "Green Energy" are dead-set against nuclear power generation tells me that it's purely a huge money grab.
New nuclear generation technology would never again end up in a Fukashima, Three Mile Island or Chernobyl scenario.
I am an advocate for nuclear as well as other power generation using abundant natural fuels.
But I would never say we cannot have a nuclear accident similar to the events you mention.

I'll be honest, I'm pretty strongly anti-nuke as it seems to be non-existent tech and insecure, but I am still open to being persuaded (so far, haven't seen any good arguments for it)
Solar and wind would be safer and something you can control, which boosts independence and resilience of the decentralized grid, along with other traditional fuels

tbh I think green energy to be good, I wouldn't "clown" on it
the issue was more centralization of energy production; solar or wind energies for example might allow you to "decentralize" that production, or produce some for your own house, leading to resiliency against brownouts / blackouts
I would like it more reliable than what could be produce right now. I wouldn't mind solar but the battery would need to be a lot more resilient and the glass a lot tougher.
I wouldn't go for wind at all.
Now there's new technology where they spray a film on your windows and it convert into solar. I used to follow the company but they couldn't make any money.
