Anybody know if gov employees, other than Temp hires, those on probation still or SrExec, are being fired by DOGE? 🧐 Research Wanted 🤔

I’m talking permanent employees who have not taken the buyout. DOGE is at daughter’s agency now. The scuttlebutt she’s getting as they will be fired via email. I just don’t think they can fire or layoff permanent employees. RIF them to new jobs or offer early retirement or buyouts but not just toss them in the streets. Anyone know what’s actually happening.
