I can kinda see the reasons why:

1. Those are endangered species, humans are not.
2. A reptile with a shell, and a feathery bird are way cuter than a human baby.

There is never a reason for abortion to be legal, unless the Mother is dying in childbirth, then it is her choice, or, if the fetus is dead inside, which is the same as dying in childbirth, just slower. There are ways to not get pregnant, we are not living in the bushman cave dweller age. Repeat-there are ways to not get pregnant. Did your underage son knock someone else underage up? Then make it a law that his parents are 50% responsible for the financial upbringing of that child, as much as her parents are. Rape of a woman? Find a way to protect her and have the child put up for adoption, get her counseling, rape is a terrible thing, but a baby is born innocent. Incest of a minor resulting in pregnancy? Jail and castration. Anyone else? Close your legs, use birthcontrol, more pregnancy will be a hardship? There are means to prevent that, tie your tubes and get a vasectomy. As I said, 0 reason for abortion in any other circumstance.
