These people are so utterly terrified of waking up, and being forced to leave their lives of comfortable ignorance in the Matrix, that they are willing to riot so they can stay there.

I saw this when Biden was "elected" in 2020. They were SO SO SO RELIEVED that now things could go back to "normal."

For them, "normal" means they can stop hearing about how those in government at every level - and in virtually every other place of power and authority - are thoroughly corrupt and bleeding the rest of us dry of our money and our labour every moment of every day. And are fully involved in worldwide human trafficking of the weakest and most vulnerable from every country on the globe.

They don't WANT to know any of that. Because if they did, they might feel obligated to do something about it. Which would upend their comfy lives of ignorance even more.

So they scream and scream and scream and resist to the very best of their abilities and insist that none of it is true. TDS is exactly like that scene of Neo waking up from the Matrix, violently thrashing and struggling, except he had the courage to stay awake. Most of these people just want to go back to sleep and stay that way.

And I wonder if maybe we shouldn't find some way to let them. They will never, ever accept the truth of their world and it really is a waste of time to try to make them accept it.

Let them sleep, since that's what they truly want. At least that way they'll be out of the way while the rest of us work to destroy the corruption that is the Matrix as best we can.
