You know, this “protect our “good” people of the FBI from investigation, because they need to be held above the law for the greater good” narrative is really getting worn out on me. It’s encouraging and teaching people to get ahead by doing something illegal, while convincing themselves their actions were instrumental in helping some humanitarian cause. In reality, they were helping themselves get ahead at the expense of others.
