...Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends...
Thru the Bible with Dr. J. Vernon McGee 2 Peter 2:3-6
“Plastic teachers with plastic words.” That’s what Dr. J. Vernon McGee warns us about in our continuing study of 2 Peter as we’re advised to avoid deception and are reminded that in the flesh, you and I have no good within us.

Do You Have Eternal Life?
“For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.” Eternal life that John is talking about is the Word of Life and it’s none other than the Son, Jesus Christ. If you want to know what eternal life is, you want a definition of it, eternal life is a person and that person is Christ. You either have Christ or you don’t have Christ. You either trust Christ or you don’t trust Christ. And if you trust Christ, you have eternal life. If you don’t trust Christ, you don’t have eternal life. Do you have eternal life?

Daily Promises
For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
One of the most intimate relationships God created can be found between a parent and a child. Parents naturally find satisfaction and enjoyment in nurturing and loving their children daily. As believers, we have the incredible privilege to share that same cherished relationship with our Creator. He is our loving Father who tends to our every need and longs for us to be near Him. This remarkable privilege is only attainable by faith in Jesus Christ who destroyed the separation between man and God with His blood. Through the beautiful gift of Christ, we are given the excellent honour of the title, "the sons of God," and given a place in the heavenlies.
Finding True Satisfaction
Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun. — Ecclesiastes 2:11
Rather than working for short term happiness that will fade away, we should set our eyes on the things of God and lay up treasure that will last forever!

Noted: When Lazarus died, Martha ran out to meet him first, then Mary came when she was called for. (John 11) Martha then turns out to be the first woman to admit to knowing Jesus was the Son of God... see vs. 27.
