I’ve spent a lot of time watching and praying over this Great Awakening movement, and I know many here deeply respect Kim Clement. I get it...he was passionate, charismatic, and said things that seemed to line up with what we’re seeing now. But I’ve started to ask myself some hard questions, not to tear anyone down, but to make sure I'm staying grounded in truth.
When Kim spoke of “taking the Kingdom by force,” I couldn’t help but think of how that mindset, though bold, aligns more with a dominion theology that assumes we usher in the Kingdom through power and influence. But Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36). And the establishment of His kingdom comes at Christ's return - not before. The danger comes when movements blur the line between spiritual truth and worldly agendas, wrapping it all in the name of God.
I’m not here to attack Kim or anyone who follows his teachings. But I do want to challenge all of us - myself included - to test everything (1 Thess. 5:21). Could it be that some prophetic voices, while sounding right, are actually leading us toward a false unity or a counterfeit Kingdom that looks like light but isn’t from God?
I'm sharing this out of concern, not criticism. Deception in the last days won’t look like obvious evil...it’ll look like righteousness, power, and unity… but without the cross, without repentance, and without the Spirit of truth.
Let’s stay watchful, prayerful, and rooted in Scripture. There’s a lot more at stake than politics or platforms.
