Had an interesting train of thought today. The gamers Anons will get a kick out of this one . . .
So the company Sony recently has been having a rough time of it. They acquired two studios, one of which produced a colossal flop for them, and the other of which is currently on track to do likewise.
First, they acquired Firewalk which developed the failure of Concord at an estimated cost of half a billion dollars, after considering acquisition, development and marketing.
Second, they acquired Bungie which is currently developing Marathon at an estimated cost of 3.6 billion, again after considering the same costs.
Each game has the same D.E.I. nonsense shoe horned in, even after the market has shown that such initiatives are not only unpopular among gaming audiences, but lead time and time again to disastrous sales and loss of revenue. In Bungie's case, they were just caught in an asset theft scandal on top of the notable signs of D.E.I. in their game.
What caught my attention earlier today was the name of each of these productions. Marathon and Concord. For the Anons who study history, these names should ring quite the bell.
The Battle of Concord occurred on April 19th of 1775. We just crossed the 250th anniversary of this battle last month. It was famously the battle that proved a turning point in the Revolutionary War and put Washington and the Patriots on the path to eventual victory over the British Empire.
The Battle of Marathon was fought in 490 BC and saw the Athenian military win a total and decisive victory against the invading Persian army. This battle completely halted the Persian conquest of Greece and in many ways paved the future of Western civilization.
I thought it interesting that Sony would acquire two separate studios to develop clear and predictable flops, losing them nearly 5 billion dollars in the process, and just happen to choose such historically significant names as Concord and Marathon for the titles of these failures.

Sure does make you think if these flops in the gaming industry are some kind of psy-op or deliberate attempt to bring down D.E.I. across the entertainment industry. Rather reminds me of POTUS and the C19 situation with Warp Speed, and Captain Ramius turning his submarine into the torpedo's path before it could arm itself.
Rather than allowing D.E.I. to fester like a cancer, instead bring it into the spotlight and shove it in gamers' faces so that they collectively reject it and the industry can move on from the madness all the quicker.
Certainly resembles combat tactics to me!

The guy who dealt the biggest financial blow to sony was Michael Jackson.. Coincidentally he was best friends with Trump in the 90s and rented an entire floor in trump tower where they would hang out regularly.
Very interesting. And the whole DEI falls into the same strategy of "making your kid smoke a whole pack of cigarettes if you catching smoking, so that he will never ever touch a cigarette again" category. Same with illegal immigration, trans craziness etc.
