So as I said in the title, since we do research like crazy, can someone determine if the government will be ending social security, medicare, medicaid, SNAP, etc? She's a leftist and probably believes the media at their word, I simply don't watch TV anymore. I got dealt a bad hand in life (will elaborate with DMs if anyone wants to know), and 4 of us live together with social security as our major source of income. If we lose it, we're basically homeless.
I don't believe that the entitlements will literally be ended, but it's something to worry about, not that I need any more stress in my life. Has anyone already done research on the bill?

It's horrendous that "bills" are so damn long, and aren't titled as "a law."
Ask her to show you the "exact," the exact specific evidence she has that your social security will be taken away. Did you pay into the system all your life and now you're receiving it in your retirement? If so, no worries. In fact, Trump intends (congress will have to approve) to remove all tax on Social Security. He has said that repeatedly. He wants to give seniors more protection for the money they earned working all their lives AND that they already paid taxes on!
Now, if your sister is someone who never worked a day in her life but somehow fraudulently collected social security, that could be a different story. But someone who has paid into the system and therefore, INVESTED into it, will get their RETURNS in the form of their check, and hopefully, soon, an even better check because they won't be paying taxes.
