Injectable ivermectin used orally...anyone have experience and did it work?
🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
We have some on hand (1% ) and it itsn't feasable to inject in this case. I know the dosage, required, I just need insight.
Thanks, pedes!
I used it during covid, and still use it at least once a month. I've told others with covid to use it, and their results amazed them. Usually two days or less and all symptoms are gone. A couple of those folks were going on two weeks sick. You can get the injectable at any farm store and a 50ml bottle will last a long time.
I give it to my dogs for heart worm prevention once a month. The dose for them is .1cc per 10 lbs body weight. I just put the drops on their food and mix it in.
The dose is 1cc per 110 lbs body weight. The best way to take it is in a shot of juice as it is bitter tasting.
Yeah,me too. Retired PharmD. Was just probing.
Found this: "Macrocyclic lactones, such as ivermectin, are absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract primarily by passive diffusion due to their high lipophilicity"
"Bioavailability of ivermectin increases significantly when administered with a high-fat meal, as demonstrated by a 2.5-fold increase in systemic exposure compared to the fasted state, indicating that dietary fat enhances solubilization and absorption of this lipophilic compound.[1]"
So i Pulled out old rx trick and wetted some powder (micronized creatine) with 3.2 cc of IVM 1% and added to 1TBS of olive oil. 23g fat per TBS) and chased w glugs o' whole milk.
I was IVM dealer in my family. 48-72° recovery here, too!
Thanks, man
