It means that we're all collectively fated. No matter what happens if it is good or bad, it's supposed to happen. Hence why the awakening is taking many years, and may take many more.

If we're in the end times, ok, whatever. But there's a reason beyond frustration that two moar weeks is a mere meme at this point.
