He spoke with such authority about the Bible and about God. I think the fact that he lived a life of sin for so long, then opened his eyes, ears, and heart to the truth, made him that much more credible.
I pray that his family celebrates his passing, as they know where he is now. I know they'll mourn their loss, here on Earth, but another soul in Heaven is time for a celebration.
Mr. Phil Roberson was not perfect but he embraced his flawed past and moved forward to be a better man and to serve his family and the Lord.
That takes humility for a man to check his ego and to serve others.
