My impression is that Trump's "aid" that Trump may be more for show than for go. F-16 jets...to be cannibalized for spare parts, because they are not flyable. Spare F-16 parts...when you don't have enough pilots. Resumed targeting intelligence...when you no longer have weapons to fire. Looks good on news reports. So why is Zelensky still running around like a cornered rat, touching off highly risky provocations, if he has been "aided"? I think Trump had dangled the prospect of Real Aid to Zelensky in order to get him to stop flying around and sign the "minerals deal."
As for Trump declaring that "Putin is crazy", I've read that after he said this and walked away, an aide came up and informed him that Putin's helicopter had been attacked. And Trump reportedly said, "So that's what it is..."
I'm not a believer that what is going on is a motion picture, but if it is, you have to realize you are getting the news one film frame at a time.
