Pentagon budget is nearly 1 Trillion dollars @ $824 Billion....
So... just out of curiosity - because we have a tendency to get numb when they start throwing around numbers...I wondered how long it would take to spend $1 Trillion.

If you spent one million dollars every day, it would take over 2,700 years.
If you spent one dollar every second, it would take over 31,000 years.

It's believed there is an underground city/base in west Texas almost halfway between San Antonio and El Paso on I-10 outside of Iraan, TX. Here is a YouTube video discussing an account of a trucker delivering a load there.
