I’ve been spending a lot of time with God over the issues of our times and He has reminded me in several occasions to consider how Jesus’ followers felt in the time following His crucifixion. What was going through their minds? Did they think they had just followed a man for several years they believed to be the Messiah only to see him murdered? Had they been wrong? Had they been deceived and duped? The despair they must have felt/experienced as they questioned everything! Jesus tried to warn them but they didn’t understand. He’s told me that it will feel similar in our times. No matter what we see and experience, we need to trust Him. He will bring us through “the birth canal” into tremendous victory! And the world will know that He is God!!
