On avg I'd say public works in LV digs up heavy air drop bombs at least a dozen times each year, and that's just doing routine street and utility repairs/upgrades.
Imagine the landmine problem in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos.... then multiply that by some crazy high exponent. And that's just WWII. Crazy to think about how many pedal mines will be littered all over Ukraine. They'll still be out there a century from now no doubt.
