Brandon Johnson (Chicago) is a member of “Our Revolution” and the SEIU and Bernie Sanders movement, and Lina Hidalgo (Harris County / Houston) may have been installed by the Colombian drug cartels.

You don’t find a Republican until Dalllas [#9] and Fort Worth [#15], and they’re both heavily compromised, likely. Next is OKC at #23 - probably also heavily compromised - then Fresno CA at #34, and Mesa, AZ at 36 for 5 of 36 mayors.
Of the top 10 cities, 5 mayors are Black, 3 are Jewish, one is Filipino, and one is Lebanese, not that it’s relevant or anything.

I knew about "de Blasio" years ago. I'm now learning about Karen Bass. Stop and think of how crazy this all is. Warren Wilhelm Jr. changed his name to Bill de Blasio. Didn't the people of New York City notice? If they noticed did they care? What an absolute phony.
If they cared, did it matter? Would the NYPD enforce the law or protect the person filling the office? Does the NYPD even care to look? Is the NYPD all on the take? What about the NY state offices, who should be looking at things there? Should the NYPD be investigated as well?.
I was thinking more of the people of NYC - but yes I get your point. Should the NYPD be investigated? YES!
The catch that “back the blue” people don’t get is that, as structured, the police serve the mayors’s office and not the people. Pension funds serve as a huge personal leverage point for any specific officer who might decide to get uppity.
I’m not sure what the best way to fix that problem might be. Volunteers getting called up by respond notice to the Sheriff’s office, with limited deputy forces on hand?
How about constitutionalist sheriffs? They are elected directly by the people.
