The consumer price index was expected to rise 0.2% in May, with a 12-month inflation rate of 2.4%.

Good economic news due to the Trump administration policies is always "better than expected".

Bad economic news during the Democrat presidencies has always been "worse than expected", or quietly adjusted downward several months later, or worse totally falsified.

You cannot hate the Fake News enough.
