I grew up in a small town and now it is becoming Atlanta real fast near savannah! I hate it now! I miss the dirt roads and everyone waving when you passed! Because everyone knew everyone else! Not anymore
Purdue is taking over West Lafayette, IN in the same way. The recently (S)elected Mayor is the local Kamala Harris who did boots-on-the-ground pandering for Obama in 2008 (and ironically, replaced a former dementia-ridden Mayor that chose her)β¦no relevant experience, hires women for city hall and young males for her impotent police force. The city is a mess, lawless, loud, and unsafe. I hate what itβs devolved into, and will have to uproot for sanity and self-preservation.
