It’s no different than nations attacking God’s people and then being punished. Assyria in Isaiah 10, for example, was greedy and got the smack down by God. Anyone who does similar (no matter how great and noble they are) is punished. God’s precipice of judgment is far worse than anything a human movement or entity can engineer or conceive of, Q notwithstanding.
