Nice pointless tirade so hate to tell you that you’re wrong. So I’ll let Merriam Webster do it for me. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/nuclear It may be a “nonstandard” pronunciation, but if it’s in the dictionary as a pronunciation, then it is right.
