When this child is old enough to realize she can never have a child because they sterilized her as a teenager ....who is she going to blame?

I'm willing to bet that the child is not a daughter, but a biological male. The mentally ill mother probably really wanted a daughter, but only got a son...so she's turning the son into a daughter.
