There were great kings of the Bible. And they bent a knee to God. As all will bend a knee before the Lord. Personally I don’t see America ever accepted someone of Royal status, but honestly I could care less. Because as mentioned, there are good kings. But only the ones who have/had a relationship with the one true King. Jesus Christ. But I don’t ever see it happening. Not in this day and time.
