MY name is Vince Vance. Myself and my band, Vince Vance and the Valiants wrote these lyrics and recorded "Bomb Iran" and released it June 4, 1980 on my Valiant Records label, and Lady DJ Dana Steele first broke it on KRBE in Houston, TX. Immediately, our hit song went to Number One —with almost ALL stations across the USA playing it multiple times each hour. "Bomb Iran" went on to become the #1 most played novelty song in 1980 and 1981. And, became the Number One most played propaganda song ALL-TIMES. However, Billboard would never rate it above 101 calling it "Bubbling Under." Also, VH-1 called me about 10 years ago, or so, to say they were doing a retrospective of 1980/81 and were going to highlight "Bomb Iran," the same song we wrote and recorded. We were so excited! STOP... Afraid of being politically incorrect and trying to re-write reality, they didn't use it in their incomplete compilation. What have we become that we can't tell the truth —as it may offend someone? So, sadly, besides the 52 hostages of which most were held for 444 days, we, too, the American People, are still being held hostage today by our guilt and these selfsame Islamic terrorists, now, for over 40 years.

Fortunately, we have a hero in the White House who is unafraid of the slings arrows of Washington and beyond.
