Everyone I know Republican and Democrat is flipping shit over this. Here out West outdoor recreation whether hunting, fishing, hiking, camping etc. is a big deal it’s part of the culture here.

Senator Mike Lee says this is for housing but tons of people I follow are saying the land proposed for sale is not suitable for housing.

Others are saying this is just first step towards selling off more public lands and not necessary if they just cut spending like they said they would.

Others are saying that if the Federal Government “can’t manage it” then return it to the states which I agree with. I don’t think the Federal Government should own that much land but selling it off seems to violate state sovereignty.

Wondering what Trump’s position is on this and the justification. All I see is anti public land sale and quite frankly I am leaning on this side cause if we didn’t let everyone under the sun legal or illegal into this country housing would be cheaper.
