To me, that would mean that We took out their ability to see, hear, and certainly launch anything at the B-2's we were planning on sending in.
Which makes sense; AFAIK, that's exactly how it's supposed to work; take out the enemies radar / defensive / offensive measures BEFORE you send your big, expensive, slow & less maneuverable bombers in to do the heavy destruction.
To put it another way; I can't imagine a scenario where we'd send our B-2's into even SLIGHTLY contested airspace. Not worth the risk.
